Principal’s Message
June 5, 2026
Dear Whiton Families,
We are excited to share that our upcoming Field Day is just around the corner! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to enjoy a day filled with fun, teamwork, and physical activity. Throughout the day, students will participate in a variety of outdoor games and activities designed to promote movement, cooperation, and school spirit.
We are especially grateful to the many volunteers who will be supporting Field Day and helping to make the event a success. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm make a meaningful difference in creating a positive and memorable experience for all of our students. Only parents/guardians who are a volunteer are allowed to attend field day. Thank you for your generosity and support!
Looking ahead, we will also be holding our final Hoot & Holler of the school year next Friday. This special assembly will include a celebration of Flag Day as well as a recognition of the upcoming 250th birthday of our nation. To help us celebrate, we are asking that all students dress in patriotic colors—red, white, and blue.
During the assembly, students will take part in a school-wide sing-along of “You’re a Grand Old Flag,” and classrooms will also enjoy a read-aloud connected to this celebration.
We are looking forward to a fun and meaningful end to the school year filled with joy, learning, and school pride.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
|

 MUSIC CLASS
We are so excited to announce that this year from June 4th - June 11th we will be having a music show and tell during your student’s music class. What does that mean?
Does your student have a musical talent that they would like to share with their classmates? Does your student play a musical instrument? Do they have a song to sing? Can they share their dance routine? Do they have any musical items they would like to show?
During this week we would love for them to share this with their classmates. I have a digital piano, a CD player and access to YouTube. If there is anything else they need or any questions please feel free to reach out to me.
