Principal’s Message
May 22, 2026
Dear Whiton Families,
As we begin the “unofficial start of summer” with the Memorial Day weekend ahead, we want to thank you for your continued partnership and support throughout the school year.
While the excitement of summer is certainly in the air, we encourage all students to finish the school year strong. Consistent attendance, positive behavior, and continued effort in the classroom remain important as we wrap up these final weeks of school. Your support in helping students stay focused, follow school expectations, and come to school each day ready to learn is greatly appreciated.
We are so proud of the growth our students have shown this year and look forward to celebrating all they have accomplished together in the coming weeks.
On Wednesday, we honored this month's Hoot & Holler winners:

 MUSIC CLASS
We are so excited to announce that this year from June 4 - June 11 we will be having a music show and tell during your student’s music class. What does that mean?
Does your student have a musical talent that they would like to share with their classmates? Does your student play a musical instrument? Do they have a song to sing? Can they share their dance routine? Do they have any musical items they would like to show?
During this week we would love for them to share with their classmates. I have a digital piano, a CD player and access to youtube. If there is anything else they need or any questions please feel free to reach out to me.

MOVING As the end of the school year approaches, if you are planning to move over the summer, either into or out of the district, please contact Jackie Breese at jbreese@branchburg.k12.nj.us. If you are moving, there is a required form that must be completed.
THIRD GRADE FAMILIES

KINDERGARTEN 2026-2027 Reminder- Families of Incoming Kindergarten Students: If you—or someone you know—has a student entering kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year, we encourage families to register now so that we can plan appropriately for class sizes and staffing to ensure the best possible experience for our students. Please note that you do not need to have all medical paperwork completed in order to begin the registration process. Starting registration now helps secure your child’s place and supports our planning for the upcoming school year. Don’t wait—register today!

Any questions, please email Ms. Gale - sgale@branchburg.k12.nj.us.
