Principal’s Message
April 17, 2026
Dear Whiton Families,
Wednesday night was the second grade Empty Bowls event. With the support of Mr. Boehm, along with students, families, staff, and the PTO the event was a great success. Together, we collected 610 boxes of macaroni and cheese and raised $1,783 for the local food pantry. It was an outstanding community effort, and I am proud of everyone for showing such strong support.
Earlier this week, Dr. Burton shared information about our Code of Conduct. As the weather has turned and students have more energy and are outside, please review our expectations with your student so that they are able to continue to have a happy and safe remainder of the school year.
Wednesday, April 22 is Administrative Professionals Day. I would like to recognize and thank Ms. Ahedo, Ms. Breese, and Ms. Dolan for their continued hard work and dedication. They are the outstanding main office team who support our school each day and help ensure everything runs smoothly.
Lastly, if you are planning for your student to participate in "Take Your Child to Work Day" on Thursday, April 23, please be sure to use this link to notify the school and enter the absence in Genesis. Please complete both the form and attendance in Genesis by Tuesday, April 21.
Sincerely,
|
