Principal’s Message

September 19, 2025

Dear Whiton Families,

We have been "soaring" into a new school year.  In art class, Mr. Boehm is working on a school-wide project with all of our students, pre-school through third grade.  Each student is decorating a feather as they "soar into a new school year" and will be reading "Perfectly Norman", a story about embracing the special qualities that strengthen us.  The feathers will then be used to create a wing span for photo opportunities for students (and staff)!
Ms. Gale, our librarian, in collaboration with Mr. Boehm has students creating feathers for "reading gives us wings" and students will be able to pose in front of the wings with a book of their choice.

Visitor and Early Dismissal Procedure

All visitors must sign in using our iPad located in the entryway.  Please bring your driver’s license for scanning. After signing in, you will be buzzed into the main office to receive your visitor badge.

We can only accommodate a limited number of people in the entryway at one time.  You may need to wait outside the main door while we clear the lobby of visitors.  Please plan accordingly and allow extra time to complete the sign-in process and visit our building.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.
